Who's behind it
Hi — I'm Jojo. I started this because the things that make a room feel warm at night are cheap to make and strangely hard to buy well: the lamp that's the right colour, the blanket you can actually wear, the candle you don't have to watch. Most stores sell fifty versions. I wanted nine good ones.
How the nine get chosen
- I order a sample of everything and live with it. The photos on this site are those samples in my own place. If a lamp is dimmer than its listing says, or a blanket sheds, it doesn't go on the site.
- Every product page says what it is not. The Willow is a glow, not a reading light. The sunset lamp is for after dark. You should know that before you order, not after.
- The reviews are real and they aren't mine. Until enough of my own customers have written theirs, the ratings you see are imported from verified buyers of these exact products on the manufacturers' listings, shown as posted, 4-star ones included. I don't edit or write reviews.
What you can hold me to
- Free U.S. shipping on orders $30+, tracked, with an arrival date shown before you pay.
- 30 days to return anything, any reason — $7.95 of return shipping comes off the refund, and it's free if it arrived damaged. Electricals carry a 12-month warranty.
